Tirupati Garuda Seva Draws Thousands During Tirumala Brahmotsavams
Garuda Seva is a major religious procession at the Tirumala temple.

Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken through Tirumala’s four Mada streets on a golden Garuda during Saturday evening’s Garuda Vahana Seva.
The procession began at 6:30 p.m. amid chants of “Govinda, Govinda” and drew thousands of devotees.
All 190 galleries, with a combined capacity of 1.8 lakh devotees, were filled by the afternoon.
Devotees who attended the morning Mohini Avataram stayed for the evening procession, described as the main event of the Brahmotsavams.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams deployed volunteers and employees for food, water, crowd management, child tagging and security oversight.
