They say that on India's birthday, which is called Independence Day, it might rain in Delhi, the capital city.

The sky will probably be cloudy, and it will feel warm, between 24 and 34 degrees.

Some other places in India, like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, might get very heavy rain.

A big weather system moving across the country is causing all this rain.

In the mountains of Uttarakhand, very heavy rain could cause landslides and block roads.

There might also be heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and parts of Uttar Pradesh.

People in Mumbai and the Northeast should also expect rain.

So people celebrating Independence Day in Delhi might want to carry an umbrella!
