India and Japan Deepen Economic and Security Partnership
India and Japan are having many meetings about working more closely together.
Japanese business leaders recently met officials in Uttar Pradesh to discuss factories, technology, and investment.
Two projects supported by Japan were also started there.
India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is visiting Japan with more than 200 Indian business representatives.
The group is visiting Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.

India wants to sell more products to Japan because Japan currently sells much more to India than India sells to Japan.
