North Central Railway Issues 388 Ayushman Cards to Contract Labourers
The North Central Railway has given 388 Ayushman cards to contract workers and their families.
These cards help them get medical treatment for free at certain hospitals.

Each card gives up to ₹5 lakh for medical treatment every year.

The cards are part of a big government health plan called Ayushman Bharat.
North Central Railway has issued 388 Ayushman cards to contract labourers across its three divisions.
145 cards issued in Prayagraj Division, 140 in Jhansi Division, and 103 in Agra Division.
The initiative aims to provide health security to contract labourers and their families under PM-JAY.
Eligible families receive health cover of up to ₹5 lakh per year for cashless and paperless treatment.
The railway continues to identify and include more eligible contract labourers in the scheme.
