Nepal Releases Rs 6.75 Crore for Flood Relief
Nepal has given emergency money to communities affected by floods.
The newest payment is Rs 6.75 crore.
It is being shared among 15 local governments in five districts.
The money will help rescuers search for people and provide immediate aid.
Nuwakot received the largest share in the latest distribution.
Some communities in Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun also received money.
These districts had already received some emergency funds earlier.
One table in the report says Rukum instead of Rasuwa, which conflicts with the detailed allocations.
Nepal released Rs 6.75 crore from its Disaster Management Fund to 15 affected local governments.
The funds cover areas in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun, according to the detailed allocations.
Nuwakot received the largest district-level allocation at Rs 3 crore, followed by Dhading with Rs 90 lakh.
The money is intended for search, rescue and immediate relief operations.
Earlier, Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading had separately received Rs 1 crore, Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakh, respectively.
