Indore Plants 21,000 Saplings for Green City
Indore, a city in Madhya Pradesh, is planting 21,000 saplings to become a greener city.
The mayor started this big tree-planting event called 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.'
They are planting fruit trees and other types like neem and peepal.
The city wants to make up for trees that were cut down for building things.
They will take care of the new trees for three years.

Another tree-planting event happened at a hospital where 200 saplings were planted.

Ahilya Upvan is being developed into a fruit orchard and urban forest.
A separate tree plantation drive at Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant District Hospital planted 200 saplings, including medicinal and indigenous species.
