Private vehicles will face entry restrictions at Saptashrung Gad from October 9 because of the expected Navratri crowds.
The Ashwin Navratri Yatra will take place from October 11 to October 20, followed by Kojagiri Purnima celebrations on October 25 and 26.
Officials reviewed law and order, crowd management, traffic, healthcare, sanitation, electricity and emergency arrangements.
The Nanduri-Saptashrung Gad road is temporarily closed for curing, but is expected to open to devotees on Saturdays and Sundays until September 26.
Authorities directed departments to arrange additional buses, improve fire response, enforce the plastic ban and complete anti-encroachment work.
