Woman Electrocuted by 11,000-Volt Wire While Drying Clothes in Lucknow
A woman in a city called Lucknow was drying her clothes on the roof of her house.
A very powerful electric wire touched her, and she got a big electric shock.
The wire had 11,000 volts of electricity, which is very dangerous.
She could not move away from the wire and stayed stuck for about five minutes.
Her clothes started to smoke and catch fire.
People nearby saw what happened and called for help.
They asked the power company to turn off the electricity.
Once the power was off, they could safely bring her down.
An ambulance took her to a health centre, and then to a bigger hospital.
The doctors say her condition is very serious.

A 35-year-old woman, Meera, was electrocuted by an 11,000-volt overhead power line while drying clothes on her terrace in Lucknow's Sarojini Nagar area.
The incident occurred around 9 am on August 16, and she remained stuck to the wire for nearly five minutes as smoke rose from her clothes.
Her dupatta came into contact with the high-voltage line, and her clothes reportedly caught fire during the ordeal.
Neighbours contacted the Gahru Power House to cut the electricity supply before she could be safely rescued.
Meera was taken to Sarojini Nagar Community Health Centre and later referred to Civil Hospital, where her condition is reported as critical.
