Adani Urges Wider Infrastructure Rating Lenses for India’s Ambitions
Gautam Adani At CareEdge Summit: 'India Does Not Need Lower Standards, It Needs Wider Lenses' · freepressjournal.in

Gautam Adani spoke to people who rate the safety and risks of large projects.

He said India is building bigger and more connected infrastructure than before.

He argued that projects should not be judged only by their immediate profits.

Ports, renewable energy sites and other facilities can create jobs, businesses and new industries around them.

He called this kind of project platform infrastructure.

Adani said Mundra Port, Vizhinjam Port and Khavda show how these platforms can support wider economic goals.

He also said artificial intelligence needs physical infrastructure such as electricity, data centres and cooling.

He stressed that rating agencies should remain careful and independent.

However, he urged them to use broader methods that recognize both risks and long-term national benefits.

He asked CareEdge to create a new framework that other emerging economies could use.
