While returning to Gandhinagar, he unexpectedly stopped at Mewad village.

He met local young people and shared tea with them.

Officials said this showed his simple and accessible approach.

Other officials and local representatives also prayed at the temple.

The temple is currently being redeveloped.

Its first reconstruction phase was announced with a cost of Rs 76.51 crore.
