UPTEX-2026 Highlights Uttar Pradesh Textile Growth and Schemes
UPTEX-2026 is a two-day textile event in Lucknow.
It will take place on September 8 and 9, 2026.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to open it.
The event will show businesses ways to invest in Uttar Pradesh’s textile industry.
The state says its policies have already supported many textile units.
It has also given money to help weavers buy equipment, build workshops, and receive training.
Another program helps powerloom weavers with electricity costs.
The government is also building textile parks and starting new programs to improve skills and increase weavers’ incomes.
UPTEX-2026 will be held on September 8-9, 2026, at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the event, which will bring together textile traders and manufacturers.
Under state textile policies, 214 units have received Letters of Comfort and 157 units have received Rs 416.75 crore in assistance.
More than 4,000 weavers have benefited from each of two development schemes, with assistance totaling Rs 73.18 crore and Rs 77.45 crore.
A 1,000-acre PM MITRA Park near Lucknow is under development, while new training and prosperity schemes target textile workers and weavers.
