The family was visiting Nepal as part of a group of about 33 tourists on a Mount Kailash–Manasarovar pilgrimage.
The incident reportedly occurred around 8:30 am last Wednesday while the family was having breakfast at a Rasuwagadhi hotel.
Floodwaters were triggered by the swelling of the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers, shocking relatives in Hinjilikatu and Digapahandi.
