Tough to believe that those who helped us just days ago died in Nepal floods: Maharashtra couple · theprint.in

Prakash and Pratibha Mane were visiting Mount Kailash with a group of Indian pilgrims.

On their way home, floods and landslides made travel difficult near the Nepal-Tibet border.

At first, the pilgrims did not understand how serious the disaster was.

The group held prayers for those victims.

Indian officials and the Maharashtra government helped organize the pilgrims’ safe return.

All 43 Indian pilgrims eventually reached home.
