Karnataka CM Shivakumar Hears Fishermen’s Demands at Harbour
Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar visited a fishing harbour in Mangaluru on Saturday.
He looked at the boats, jetties and fish being brought in.
He spoke with fishermen, fish sellers and trade groups about their problems.
They asked for better harbour facilities and help with boat parking and dredging.

He ordered reports into whether security arrangements unnecessarily disrupted routine harbour trading after his arrival.
