Charlapalli-Nagercoil Special Trains Announced for 2026 Festival Season

South Central Railway is adding special trains between Charlapalli and Nagercoil.

These trains will run on some dates in September and October 2026.

The new service is meant to help people travel during the busy festival season.

One train will travel from Charlapalli to Nagercoil.

Another train will make the return journey.

The route passes through parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

It will stop at important places such as Guntur, Chennai, Madurai and Tirunelveli.

Each direction will have five scheduled trips.

The trains will have air-conditioned, sleeper and ordinary seating coaches.

Key facts

Outbound train: Train No. 07535 departs Charlapalli at 7:45 pm and reaches Nagercoil at 10:45 pm the following day.
Return train: Train No. 07536 departs Nagercoil at 12:45 am and reaches Charlapalli at 3:45 am the next day.
Operating period: Selected dates in September and October 2026.
Services: Five trips from Charlapalli and five return trips from Nagercoil.
Route states: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Coach composition: Two AC 2-Tier, five AC 3-Tier, 10 Sleeper Class and four General Second Class coaches, plus two luggage-cum-brake vans.
Arrangement: The trains will operate as Express Specials under the Trains on Demand arrangement.
