British Man Searches for Wife After Nepal Floods

Severe floods have caused widespread destruction in Nepal.

Many people have died, and thousands are still missing.

Pramod Poudel is looking for his wife and three other relatives.

He last spoke with his wife on Wednesday afternoon.

She told him that she loved him very much.

Poudel says families cannot easily contact one another because bridges, roads and electricity systems were damaged.

Rescue and recovery efforts are still continuing.

Nepal’s government says rebuilding the damaged areas could cost billions of dollars.
