The man, named Govind Singh, did not stop.

Instead, he shot at the police with a gun.

The police shot back and hurt his leg, so he could not run away.

They caught him and found an illegal gun, bullets, and stolen jewellery with him.

The police then took him to a hospital to treat his leg, with officers watching over him.

Now he is under police custody in the hospital.
