Supreme Court Justice Sandeep Mehta wrote to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant seeking Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma’s transfer and alleging concerns about Sharma’s exercise of administrative powers and the listing of cases. Lawyers at the Rajasthan High Court’s Jaipur and Jodhpur benches also protested and sought Sharma’s removal as Acting Chief Justice.
