India’s National Investigation Agency searched 10 places in five districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

The searches are part of an investigation into an alleged cross-border terrorism network.

The agency says Pakistan-based handlers may have worked with local helpers.

These helpers are accused of assisting terrorists with communication, travel, hiding and shelter.

The case began after an alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba associate was arrested on March 31, 2026.

Officials said a hand grenade and live ammunition were found during that arrest.

The agency said some Pakistani terrorists linked to the alleged conspiracy were later arrested.

Investigators are studying documents, digital information, money trails, communications and weapons-related evidence.
