Delayed Journey Saves Bheemili Pilgrims From Nepal Floods

Twenty-six pilgrims were traveling through Nepal toward Mansarovar.

They were supposed to leave earlier, but their travel agent arrived late with their visas.

The group also stopped several times for tea and restroom breaks.

These delays meant they reached a dangerous area later than planned.

They saw a huge amount of water rushing toward a village and bridge.

The pilgrims quickly turned around and climbed a hill to stay safe.

Two buses had already crossed the bridge, but their fate was not known.

Eight pilgrims later returned home to Bheemili.

They said they would remember the frightening experience for the rest of their lives.
