Bharat Taxi Launch Expands Mobility Services Across Uttar Pradesh
Bharat Taxi, a new taxi service, was launched in five Uttar Pradesh cities.
These cities are Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Kanpur, and Prayagraj.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honoured five Saarthis, or participating drivers, with share certificates.
Bharat Taxi signed agreements with an airport operator, the metro corporation, and traffic authorities.
Officials said nearly 40,000 drivers have registered in Uttar Pradesh.
They also said Bharat Taxi has paid more than ₹100 crore to drivers nationally over six months.
Some people received loans through the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana.
The event also highlighted efforts to strengthen cooperatives and create employment.
