Bharat Taxi launches cooperative ride-hailing service in Chandigarh
Bharat Taxi is a new taxi service that has started in Chandigarh.

Bharat Taxi was launched in Chandigarh on Friday under a cooperative-led ride-hailing model.
Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria digitally inaugurated the service and flagged off its vehicles.
The platform gives driver-members ownership, membership and a share in profits, according to Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar.
Kataria called for transparent operations, data security, fair fares, grievance redressal and environment-friendly vehicles.
Bharat Taxi plans to expand to Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar in the coming months.
