Two Minor Girls Killed as House Collapses in Madhya Pradesh

A small house in Madhya Pradesh fell down while three people were sleeping inside.

The people were Hema Kevat, her two-month-old daughter Shivangi, and Hema’s 14-year-old sister-in-law Rachna.

All three became trapped under the broken house.

Shivangi and Rachna died.

Hema was badly hurt in her abdomen and legs.

Doctors took care of her at a hospital in Chhatarpur.

Her condition later improved, although she remained under treatment.

A minister offered money to help the family and said more government help could come.

The collapse happened during the rainy monsoon season.
