Telangana’s 42 Railway Stations Set for Major Upgrades
The government is improving 42 railway stations in Telangana.
Vikarabad station is one of the stations being upgraded.

Vikarabad Railway Station is receiving development work worth Rs 27 crore, with completion targeted by the end of the year.
Vikarabad handles about 15,000 passengers and 60 trains daily, and will receive a waiting hall, VIP lounge and parking areas.
Railway projects worth Rs 80,000 crore are progressing across Telangana, including track expansion and completed electrification.
The Kazipet rail manufacturing unit is 90% complete, while Kavach technologies and five Hyderabad-based Vande Bharat trains have been introduced.
