Mancherial Kitchen to Serve Breakfast to Government Students
A new community kitchen has opened in Mancherial.
It will cook healthy breakfasts for students.
The food will reach government schools and junior colleges in three districts.
More than 49,000 students are expected to benefit.
Singareni Collieries Company Limited helped fund the project through CSR support.
The Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation is implementing it.
The district collector said education is important for students’ futures.
Officials also began work on a ghat for the Godavari Pushkaralu festival planned for 2027.
A centralised community kitchen was inaugurated on College Road in Mancherial.
The kitchen will provide hygienic, nutritious breakfast to 42,450 school students and 6,654 junior college students.
It will serve 691 government schools and 13 government junior colleges across three districts.
The project received CSR support from Singareni Collieries Company Limited and was implemented by the Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation.
Officials also laid the foundation stone for a Godavari Pushkara Ghat ahead of Godavari Pushkaralu-2027.
