SCR Announces Nanded-Hadapsar Specials Amid Festival Safety Review

South Central Railway is adding two special train trips for people traveling during the Ganapati festival and Mahalaxmi Pooja.

One train will go from H.S. Nanded to Hadapsar on September 20.

The return train will travel from Hadapsar to H.S. Nanded on September 21.

Both trains will stop at 10 stations along the route.

Passengers can choose air-conditioned, sleeper or general seating coaches.

Railway officials also held a safety meeting in Secunderabad on September 7.

They told workers to follow safety rules and wear required equipment.

Officials were asked to check tracks, coaches and wagons carefully.

They were also told to report even small problems quickly.

Outbound service: Train 07607 leaves H.S. Nanded at 9 p.m. on September 20 and reaches Hadapsar at 9:45 a.m. the following day.
Return service: Train 07608 leaves Hadapsar at 11 a.m. on September 21 and reaches H.S. Nanded at 12:35 a.m. on September 22.
Stops: Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Lasur, Nagarsol, Ahilyanagar and Daund Chord Line.
Coach classes: 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
Passenger reason: The services are intended to handle increased demand during the Ganapati festival and Mahalaxmi Pooja.
Safety meeting: SCR General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava reviewed arrangements at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on September 7.
Safety directives: Officials were told to conduct intensive audits, follow safety protocols, remove construction material from worksites and report minor operational issues immediately.
