Bengaluru Police Arrest Two in Laptop Theft Racket
Two men from Tamil Nadu were caught by the police in Bengaluru for stealing laptops.
They took 48 laptops from places where tech professionals stay, called Paying Guest (PG) accommodations.
The laptops were worth about Rs 40 lakh.
One of the men, Rajadorai, had been in trouble before.
The police found out about the theft when someone reported that their laptops were missing.
The thieves were a laptop repairman and an auto-rickshaw driver.
The police said the thieves knew that tech professionals often leave their laptops unsecured in their rooms.
The police have recovered the stolen laptops and solved 10 theft cases.
They are advising tech professionals and PG operators to secure their rooms and not leave electronic devices unattended.
