India PR Industry Linked to $545 Billion Economic Value
A new study looked at how public relations affects businesses in India.
Public relations includes activities that help companies build and protect their reputations.
The study says these activities influence about $545 billion in economic value each year.

Reputation management made up the largest part of the estimate, at $265 billion.
The study also estimated $220 billion from brand awareness and growth.
It found that crises could put about $60 billion in revenue and market value at risk.
