Shah Rukh Khan is now India's most valuable celebrity brand
Every year, a company called Kroll measures how much Indian celebrities are worth to brands that want them in advertisements.
In 2025, movie star Shah Rukh Khan came first, with a brand value of about $177.9 million.
He moved up from third place, helped by more endorsement deals.
Cricket star Virat Kohli, who was number one in 2024, dropped to third place.
Actor Ranveer Singh stayed in second place.
The total value of the top 25 celebrities went down a little, to about $2 billion.
The report says more endorsements now happen on digital platforms and social media than before.
Only two women, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, made the top ten.
Cricket stars Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni moved up the list.
This ranking shows which famous people companies most want to help sell their products.
Shah Rukh Khan topped Kroll's 2025 celebrity brand value rankings at $177.9 million (around Rs 1,691 crore), rising from third place in 2024.
Ranveer Singh retained second place at $162.9 million, while 2024 leader Virat Kohli slipped to third with $158.4 million.
The combined brand value of India's top 25 celebrities fell 3.7% to about $2 billion in 2025, still higher than 2023's $1.9 billion.
Digital endorsements grew to roughly 60%–75% of brand associations for several leading celebrities, up from 40%–60%, and SRK's brand associations rose from 28 in 2024 to 36 in 2025.
Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni climbed the rankings; Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone were the only women in the top 10, while Ananya Panday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shraddha Kapoor were notable gainers.
