Three Telangana Dairies Lose Licences Over Unhygienic Paneer

Food safety officials inspected dairy businesses in and around Hyderabad.

They found dirty conditions and signs of pests at some places.

Some units were suspected of using ingredients that are not regular milk ingredients to make paneer.

Officials also found that some businesses could not show records explaining where their milk came from.

They took 21 samples for testing.

They seized food items worth ₹7.19 lakh, including palm oil and glycerol monostearate.

Three dairy units had their licences suspended and were told to stop working.

Officials may take more action after the businesses respond and are inspected again.
