PNB Draws With Defending Champions At National Hockey Championship

Several government and institutional hockey teams played matches in Hyderabad.

The defending champions, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, played Punjab National Bank.

Their match ended in a 4-4 tie.

Comptroller & Auditor General of India won a much closer match against Punjab & Sind Bank, 5-4.

Sports Authority of India won 5-0 against Central Reserve Police Force.

Railway Sports Promotion Board scored 12 goals against Tamil Nadu Police, which scored once.

Other winning teams included Central Board of Direct Taxes, Central Secretariat, All India Police Sports Control Board, and Food Corporation of India.

These games were part of the 6th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship.
