Officials want to build a place in Bahadurguda to help operate high-speed bullet trains.

To do this, they plan to acquire 796.28 acres of land.

The site is near Shamshabad airport and the Outer Service Road.

Most of the land, 750 acres, belongs to the government.

The remaining 46.28 acres is privately held patta land.

The hub could support trains connecting Hyderabad with Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai through different corridors.

In February 2026, Nirmala Sitharaman announced several high-speed railway corridors, including routes involving Hyderabad.

The land-acquisition notification is an early step toward developing the proposed hub.
