Telangana is working on two major road corridor projects near Hyderabad.

One is a 5.40-kilometre elevated road on NH-44.

The other is an 18.18-kilometre corridor on SH-01.

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju visited both projects to check their progress.

He asked officials to quickly acquire private land needed for construction.

He also told them to hand over government and religious structures as soon as possible.

Some work is delayed by issues at a function hall, an airport tunnel and Defence land.

The projects include elevated roads, ramps, a subway and other structures.

Jaju said departments should work together so the projects finish on time and meet quality standards.
