Spotify published a report about how Indian music performed on its service.

It found that songs in several regional languages are becoming more popular.

Telugu music had the biggest reported royalty increase, while Haryanvi streams grew nearly seven times over the stated period.

More than 40% of the money earned by Indian artists came from listeners in other countries.

People streamed Indian artists almost 335 billion times.

Some Indian songs also became very popular around the world.

Music made outside Bollywood films is becoming important too.

The report also said that streams of Indian women artists inside India increased by 27% in 2025.
