Railways' Varanasi unit shatters production records with 65 electric engines built in 30 days · businesstoday.in

Banaras Locomotive Works, a factory in Varanasi, India, built 65 new trains in just one month, which is more than any other month before.

They made 44 freight trains, 13 passenger trains, and 8 new passenger trains called Amrit Bharat.

The manager, Ashutosh Pant, said the workers did a great job because they were disciplined and worked well together.

The factory hopes to make even more trains next year, more than the government’s goal.

They also sell trains to 11 countries in Africa and Asia, helping other countries use electric trains too.
