Uttarakhand Final Voter Roll Lists 71.58 Lakh Electors
Uttarakhand checked and updated its voter list through a process called the Special Intensive Revision.
The final list, released on October 3, has about 71.58 lakh voters.
The election office says the list had 79.6 lakh voters when the process began, so the final number is lower by 8.01 lakh.
Congress leader Manoj Rawat says the earlier number was 85.19 lakh, which would mean a bigger drop.
During the update, officials added some eligible voters and removed others.
People who are eligible but missing can still ask to be added using Form 6.
Election workers will also visit some homes and hold special camps to help people.

Eligible people missing from the roll can apply through Form 6 online or via a Booth Level Officer; special camps and home visits are planned.
