Venkatagiri Poleramma Jatara Preparations Emphasize Devotee Safety And Convenience
The Poleramma festival will take place in Venkatagiri for five days.
It will start on September 27 and finish on October 1.
Many devotees are expected to attend.
Officials are preparing police, buses, queues, toilets, water and medical help.
About 1,200 police officers will help keep people safe.
Around 150 buses will carry visitors, with more available if needed.
VIP visitors can attend only from 6 am to 9 am.
People can also buy Rs 300 tickets for a separate darshan queue.
Cameras, drones and a control centre will help officials watch the festival area.
The five-day Sri Poleramma Ammavari Jatara will run from September 27 to October 1 in Venkatagiri.
Ghatotsavam will begin the festival, main celebrations are scheduled for September 30, and Niluvu and Nishkramana programmes will conclude it.
About 1,200 police personnel will provide security, supported by CCTV cameras, drones and an Integrated Command Control Centre.
Around 150 RTC buses will serve devotees, with roughly 50 additional buses planned based on demand.
VIP darshan will be limited to 6 am–9 am, while Rs 300 advance darshan tickets will provide access to a separate queue.
