Vijayawada Dasara Festivities Planned With Priority for Ordinary Devotees

Dasara celebrations will be held at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada from October 11 to October 20, 2026.

Many people are expected to visit Goddess Kanaka Durga.

Officials want ordinary devotees to have a smooth visit.

VIP and VVIP access will therefore be limited.

VIP tickets will cost ₹1,000 on regular Navaratri days.

Tickets will not be sold on Moola Nakshatram or Vijayadashami.

Elderly and disabled visitors will receive special help and separate queues.

Officials will use cameras, drones and artificial intelligence to watch crowds and respond to problems.

Different government departments will work together on water, sanitation, transport, security and other services.
