Tirumala Brahmotsavams Prompt Tighter Security and Traffic Measures
Tirumala Brahmotsavams: Police, TTD step up security, traffic measures · thehansindia.com

Tirumala is preparing for large crowds during two Brahmotsavams festivals.

Police and TTD officials checked roads, traffic junctions and routes used by devotees.

They want people to move safely and avoid long delays.

Tirumala has space for only about 2,500 to 3,000 vehicles.

Some vehicles will instead be parked in selected places in Tirupati.

Devotees will be encouraged to take APSRTC buses to Tirumala and return after darshan.

Special control rooms will help officials watch and manage the crowds.

More than 2,800 cameras, along with facial recognition and computer analysis, will support the monitoring.

Officials asked devotees to cooperate and use public transport.
