Tata Motors PV Sales Rise 40% in Q2 FY27
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles sold many more vehicles in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027.
It sold 2,01,723 vehicles, which was 40% more than in the same quarter a year earlier.
Most of the vehicles were sold in India.
Sales outside India also increased.
Electric-vehicle sales almost doubled to 47,150 vehicles.
Electric vehicles made up 23% of the company’s sales.
CNG vehicles made up another 28%.
The company said vehicle demand remained strong and introduced several new models.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported total Q2 FY27 sales of 2,01,723 units, up 40% from Q2 FY26.
Domestic passenger-vehicle sales rose 40% to 1,96,674 units, while international sales increased 20% to 5,049 units.
Electric-vehicle sales nearly doubled, rising 90% to 47,150 units from 24,855 units.
September 2026 total passenger-vehicle sales increased 15% year-on-year to 70,210 units.
EVs and CNG vehicles together represented 51% of the company’s sales portfolio during the quarter.
