Students Celebrate World Conservation Day Through SDG Exhibition
A school called Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar held a special celebration for World Conservation Day.
Conservation means taking care of nature.
The children made an exhibition about 17 big goals that people around the world made to help our planet, called the Sustainable Development Goals.
They showed displays about keeping things clean, protecting the climate, and saving natural resources.
Some students recycled old cardboard and paper to make new, useful things.
Others ran a fun quiz about the environment.
A special guest named Sudip Goswami came to open the event, along with the Principal and Headmistress.
Teachers and visitors shared why protecting nature matters for our future.
At the end, everyone got Action Cards with simple tips to help the environment every day.
The big message was that small actions can make the world cleaner and greener.
Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar celebrated World Conservation Day on 28 July 2026 with an SDG Exhibition themed 'Making the SDGs a Reality.'
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sudip Goswami, In-charge of Bharat Soka Gakkai, in the presence of Principal Sonali Sarkar and Headmistress Meenakshi Basu.
