In the Indian city of Jalgaon, there is going to be a big event called the Environment Festival.

It will last for five days, from August 12 to August 16, in 2026.

The city government, called the Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation, is organising it with two groups named Hirvankur Sanstha and Green City Foundation.

The festival's job is to teach people about taking care of nature.

People will learn about planting trees and keeping the city clean.

The mayor, Deepmala Kale, says she wants everyone, especially young people, to join in.

The festival starts on August 12 at a college called Nutan Maratha College.

Before it begins, there will be a bicycle ride and a special parade for trees called Vruksha-Dindi.

There will also be an exhibition that is free for citizens, women and students.

The mayor hopes that if everyone helps, Jalgaon can become one of the cleanest and greenest cities, just like Indore.
