Maharashtra Recommends 4,390 Candidates in Converted Round Through Pavitra Portal
Maharashtra has selected 4,390 more people for teaching jobs.
The selections were made through a website called the Pavitra portal.
These jobs were available because some reserved-category seats remained empty after the first selection round.
The jobs are in schools run by local governments and in some private schools.
The selection used results from the Teacher Aptitude and Intelligence Test held in 2025.
More than 211,000 people took that test.
Altogether, 17,509 candidates have now been recommended for jobs.
Selected candidates must have their documents checked from September 24 to 28.
Appointment counselling is planned from October 5 to 9.
The Maharashtra School Education Department recommended 4,390 candidates for teacher and shikshan sevak posts.
The recommendations cover vacant parallel-reservation seats in local-body and participating private schools.
The recruitment is based on the Teacher Aptitude and Intelligence Test 2025, taken by 2,11,308 candidates.
Including the first regular round, 17,509 candidates have been recommended against 19,754 advertised posts.
Document verification is scheduled for September 24–28, followed by appointment counselling from October 5–9.
