Maharashtra Creates AI Panel for Higher Education Governance
Maharashtra has created a group to help manage higher and technical education using artificial intelligence.

Maharashtra has formed a 10-member AI Data Analytics and Dashboard Governance Committee for higher and technical education.
Shivaji University Vice-Chancellor Rajnish Kamat will chair the committee, with Prashant Sinalkar serving as member secretary.
The panel will analyze data on enrolment, examinations, results, scholarships, affiliations, libraries and research publications.
It will develop dashboards and early-warning systems to identify errors, irregularities and other issues.
The committee will address cybersecurity, personal-data protection and AI ethics during its initial three-year term.
