Maharashtra Recommends 13,119 Teachers Through Pavitra Portal Recruitment
Maharashtra has recommended 13,119 people for teaching jobs.
The selections were made using the Pavitra Portal.
These jobs are in government and privately managed schools.
The Teacher Aptitude and Intelligence Test was held online in 2025.
More than 211,000 people took the test.
Most recommendations were for teaching Classes 1 to 5.
Some reserved positions could not be filled because eligible candidates were unavailable.
Those positions may be offered again in a converted round.
Selected candidates can check their status online and contact the appointing authority.
The Maharashtra School Education Department recommended 13,119 candidates for teacher recruitment through the Pavitra Portal.
The recommendations cover 19,754 advertised vacancies in the non-interview recruitment category.
District councils received the most recommendations, with 8,481 candidates selected against 13,225 vacancies.
Classes 1 to 5 accounted for the largest number of recommendations, with 7,541 candidates.
Reserved posts for ex-servicemen, part-time workers and Scheduled Tribe candidates remained vacant and will be filled through a converted round.
