CISF Tightens Delhi Metro Security Checks Ahead of Independence Day
India's Independence Day is coming soon, so security officers are going to check bags and belongings more carefully at Delhi Metro stations starting Sunday.
These special security officers are called CISF.
Because they will check more people, lines might get very long at some stations, especially in the morning and evening rush hours.
The people in charge told passengers to leave a little extra time for their trips and to be patient with the security officers.
