Health and family welfare received Rs 23,353 crore, while the transport department got Rs 13,561 crore, including talks with Karnataka on a metro link to Hosur.
Welfare schemes include a silk saree and eight grams of gold for brides under Annan Seer Thittam (Rs 812 crore), 1-gram gold rings for newborns (Rs 560 crore), and 200 units of free electricity.
The government aims to become a $1.5 trillion economy by 2035–36 and plans to build 20,000 public EV charging stations across the state within five years.
