BJP Appoints Chandrashekhar Tiwari Madhya Pradesh Organisational General Secretary
The BJP chose Chandrashekhar Tiwari to become its organisational general secretary in Madhya Pradesh.
This job had been empty for eight months.
It became vacant after Hitanand Sharma returned to the RSS.
Tiwari came to the BJP from the RSS in 2013.
He has already held a similar job in Rajasthan and Telangana.
The BJP also gave Ajay Jamwal a new role in Maharashtra.
Shiv Prakash will continue looking after the BJP’s work in Madhya Pradesh.
Satish Dhaur will work with tribal communities in four states, including Madhya Pradesh.
The BJP appointed Chandrashekhar Tiwari as Madhya Pradesh’s organisational general secretary on Thursday.
Tiwari previously served as organisational general secretary in Rajasthan and Telangana.
The position had remained vacant for eight months after Hitanand Sharma returned to the RSS.
Tiwari, originally from Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district, moved from the RSS to the BJP in 2013.
Ajay Jamwal was appointed Maharashtra’s organisational general secretary, while Shiv Prakash continues overseeing Madhya Pradesh.
