India Approves Missile Technology Transfer to Defence Industry
India has approved a plan to share technology for its conventional missiles with Indian defence companies.
The technology was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation, or DRDO.
This could allow private companies to manufacture the missiles inside India.
Until now, production mainly involved Bharat Dynamics Limited and some DRDO facilities.
