They won the gold medal in their age group with a score of 98.61.
China's team was very close, with 98.20 points.
The winner was decided on the very last hand of the final round.
Mumbai teenagers Viha Gahrotra and Ananya Mehta won gold in the U16 Teams event at the 2026 World Youth Transnational Bridge Championship in Hefei, China.
Their six-player international team 'Triple Trouble' combined pairs from India, England, and Norway and qualified 10th out of 98 competing teams.
Triple Trouble took first place in Final B with a score of 98.61, narrowly edging host nation China, which finished on 98.20.
The victory came down to the very last hand of the final round after three intense days of competition.
The pair, both students of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, had previously helped India reach the U16 final four at the 19th World Youth Team Championships in Italy.
